Se han anunciado los nominados a los Premios Oscar 2015 resaltando la cantidad de nominaciones de “Birdman o (La inesperada virtud de la ignorancia)” y “El gran hotel Budapest” con nueve cada una.
La oportunidad para que por segundo año consecutivo un director mexicano gane un Oscar está más latente que nunca con la fuerte presencia de Alejandro González Iñárritu con “Birdman”, sin olvidar la presencia de sus compatriotas Martín Hernández en Edición de Sonido y Emmanuel “El Chivo” Lubezki por Fotografía, ambos también en la cinta protagonizada por Michael Keaton.
Por otro lado, cabe destacar la ausencia de “Los Caballeros del Zodiaco. La Leyenda del Santuario” y “Lego. La película” en la competencia por “Mejor película animada”, aunque la segunda sí participa en el renglón de “Mejor canción” con “Everything Is Awesome”.
Asimismo, resulta impresionante que en el tema de “Mejores efectos visuales”, tres películas con personajes de Marvel compiten por la codiciada estatuilla: “Capitán América y el Soldado del Invierno”, “Guardianes de la Galaxia” y “X-Men: Días del futuro pasado”; claro está, “Interestelar” y la última entrega de “El planeta de los simios” también levantan la mano.
